Where the Money Goes

The funds raised from our 2007 run went to:

The Rankin Run will also contribute $200,000 to the regional hospital system's oncology unit located in St. Catharines. The unit is purchasing equipment with the money, and that equipment will be transferred to the new regional cancer centre when it opens in the new hospital in St. Catharines in several years.


We thank everyone involved for their tremendous support in helping to raise these funds for these local cancer support organizations.



Allocation Conditions

Applicant must be an incorporated charity in operation for at least 2 years.

Applications may apply for grants for

Treatment
Education
Capital expenditures with respect to (a) or (b) above

(i) Applications must

(a) provide evidence that the applicant is an incorporated charity
(b) provide financial statements for the last 2 years

(ii) Describe the project, the budget for the project and the amount of funds requested

(iii) Be submitted on or before May 1 st of each year

Following the run each year it will be decided how the funds shall be allocated.
