T-Shirt Design Contest

Any student is eligible to enter our third competition. The deadline is the last week of January 2008. Last year, we had seven winners - one from each of the following schools: Lockview, Dalewood, Monsignor Clancy, Parnell, Prince Phillip, Beacon Christian and Wheatley. You will see their designs over 4,000 t-shirts here in the Niagara Region.

The guidelines for the competition are:

1) Students in Kindergarten through University are eligible to enter.

2) Submit pictures on 8 x 10 paper.

3) Please use a maximum of three colours.

4) The theme is cancer - what does the word mean to you? How do we join together to raise funds to fight cancer? How can we positively send a message through the picture you create?

We would also love to have your school team join us at our third event on May 24, 2008. This year more than 25 schools participated, over 4,000 people took part and $300,000 was raised. The money has been given back to our Niagara Region.

Wellspring Niagara received $100,000.00 and $200,000.00 to oncology at the St. Catharines site. Equipment has been purchased and will be transferred to our new Cancer Centre when it is operational.
